Have been working in Disney's Polynasian Resort for a week....yesterday was my last day of on the job trainning and i got my fisrt pay cheque....... I work as merchandise at the retail shops in the resort, Bou Tiki and Trader Jack. My main duties are "playing" with the register, stocking...etc. n most inportant of all...greeting the guests..in other words, blowing water...the most challenging part is to interact with the guest during transaction......sometimes even hv to take care of those kids who want to trade the pins....
Although i m working indoor with air conditioning, it's quite tiring to stand n walk around for 8 hrs....... Disney Fantasy........just a random finding that i go to disney every 3 yrs....different 3 tho.....Paris...Tokyo...Orlando.....But i m goin to break this pattern....as a cast member, i hv free entry to the theme parks.....and free transport as well.....XD.....i can go there as many times as i want....horhor.... last sat, i went to Magic Kingdom at nite for parade n fireworks.....here "MK" means Magic Kingdom.....i know is odd but i hv to say this is my first time to watch the Disney's parade n fireworks.....reali beautiful......there is a Tinker Bell flying from the castle during fireworks.... Today, i m enjoying my first day off.....went to Florida Mall......n tmr i will go to Downtown Disney.........my manager said we r goin to hv a busy summer...hv to prepare for that..... that's it for now..... i m reali lucky to be here ..... n i truly enjoy it.....may be this is how Disney create magic for its guests...to keep them away from the reality.......wt could be better? |
